STEVE JOBS -lord of the i’s

Before I read his biography I only knew Steve Jobs as the late CEO of APPLE . But one a day a friend recommended me to read Steve Jobs biography, he told me that I would love that book . Looking back on it I think that I am very grateful to him for making me read that book.

Steve Jobs biography is written by Walter Isaacson and he put his time and love into this book which helped the world to understand Jobs .

Steve was adopted his adopted parents told him that when he was old enough and the also made it clear that they loved him a lot. During his childhood he was extremely interested in electronics and from a young age he was very bright. Jobs once said, ‘‘I always thought of myself as a humanities person as a kid, but I liked electronics….then I read something that one of my heroes Edwin Land of Polaroid, said about the importance of people who could stand at the intersection of humanities and sciences, and decided that’s what I wanted to do.” In 1968 Jobs met Steve Wozniak who later became partner of Jobs at apple.

Before founding Apple Jobs did a lot of soul searching through Zen Buddhism and he travelled to many places to understand the meaning of life. When he came back he founded apple with his friends in a garage, after many hardships apple came on top but then Jobs was cast out of his own company. After he was exiled he created his company NEXT and he bought Pixar. Pixar went on to make the Toy Story and when he came back again to apple he turned the company around and it became one of the top companies in the world.

“When you grow up you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world. Try to not bash into the walls too much. Try to have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money. That’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it… Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.”
― Steve Jobs

Steve once said that “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” ― Steve Jobs
