Ahh….Samosa with Tea!!! Are you missing your favorite tea stall wala samosa? Are you missing this delicious snacks like hell? Don’t worry, you can still have it whenever you want at home. Just follow these 5 simple steps and your delicious tea stall style samosa will be ready.
For this you need these ingredients: (per 10 serves)
- 2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon crushed ginger
- 1 teaspoon raisins
- 5 boiled potato
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon kasoori methi leaves
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cup refined oil
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon green chilli
- 1 teaspoon cashews
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- salt as required
- 1 teaspoon coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- 1 handful raw peanuts
How to make samosa with 5 simple steps?
Step 1-Sauté the cumin seeds and seed potatoes in the filling
In order to make a delicious samosa at home, first create the filling. Let’s have a medium-high heat, add 2 teaspoons of oil to it. When the oil is sufficiently heated, add the cumin seeds and overcome them.
Step 2-Add the spices and the potatoes, and cook for a while
Now add all of the seeds, coriander, ginger, and green chili pepper. Fry for a few minutes, then add the chopped cashew nuts and raisins, peanuts, if you like them-roasted potatoes and mashed potatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili peppers, salt, kasuri meti leaves and coriander leaves. Stir well and cook for 2 more minutes. Your filling is ready!
Step 3-Prepare the dough, samosa
Now, in order to make the dough, grab a cup, mix the all-purpose flour, along with the carom seeds and salt to taste. Mix and then add the melted butter, and begin kneading, add a little bit of water, to a point. Make sure that you gradually add the water, and this is a solid dough. A soft dough that will make your samosas crispy. Cover the dough with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for about half an hour.
Step 4 Roll the dough into small, purees, and cut it in half
After that, roll out the dough into several small balls. Flatten them with your hands, for the rolling pin. To give them a more rounded shape, and cut it in half. Now put your hands in the water, fold the edges of the half to give the shape of a cone.
Step 5-Fill one-half of the potatoes in the filling, and deep-frying
Remove the stuffing with a spoon and fill it until the cone. Seal the ends tightly, lightly tapping with your fingers on the edge. Then, heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the samosa on a low heat until it is golden brown and crispy. Serve with tomato ketchup and green chutney. Enjoy it as a tea snack!
