If you are a graduate in india,you are eligible to give almost all the government exams ranging from UPSC CSE,SSC CGL,Banking exams,State PCS exams etc.

A graduate can also appear for exams requiring minimum qualification of 10th std.

There are government openings for mtech,phd students as for research like DRDO research fellow.

For engineering graduates,post graduates there are plethora of opportunities in IT sector,Core companies and research. But you can also try your hand in Government sector.UPSC conducts Engineering Services exclusive to engineers.Also states conduct different branch wise,stream wise exams for engineers.GATE psu recruitment also there.

If you are a lawyer then litigation,arbitration or drafting is not the only option for you. There are government exams for judiciary services.There is Advocate on Record exam which helps you practice in Supreme Court.Then other exams providing you administrative wing opportunities.

For those wanting to work in military or paramilitary forces,navy,Air force CDS,NDA,SSB exam is conducted.Also there are frequent recruitments for soldiers,sailors etc.UPSC also conducts CAPF examination which gets you in Shashastra Seema Bal(ssb) ,ITBP(indo tibetan border police),Assam Riffles etc.

For those interested in police forces,UPSC,state pcs conducts exams but at Group C and Group D level the state conducts Police bharti.

If you are inclined to banking system,

RBI conducts RBI gradeB ,RBI assistant like exams.

IBPS conducts banking exams for Nationalized banks like SBI,Punjab National Bank etc.

IBPS PO,IBPS Clerk,IBPS SO etc

Private Banks ,Cooperative banks conduct their different exams.

Now what about those who are 10th or 12th pass?

What opportunities await them?

SSC chsl for 12th pass students.Group C and Group D exams by States,Railways etc,Office Assistant by RBI etc.

If you have qualified 10th then you can become a part of states postal circle,which gives you the post of Branch post master.You may also apply for ITI based apprenticeship openings of the state/union government.

If you want to acquire skills or want to polish them,you can go for internships provided by government or the private institutions.Niti aayog,Ministry of commerce conducts frequent internships.

Teaching jobs openings requiring D.ed/B.ed are also there.
