Before vacations, we plan out a long list of the to-do list. And when finally it begins we start doing all of it. With so much merriment and partying around we forget our healthy eating routines and jump to eat all the delectable food brought in front of our hungry eyes.

And amidst this cheerfulness and excitement, we ignore our dental health. We eat all the delicacies and forget to check our sugar intake. This gives the bad bacterias a chance to attack our teeth and gums and cause many dental problems.

Do not worry, you can have your high spirits, but only if you follow the below-mentioned easy-peasy dental care tips.

EATING HEALTHY-

Of course, holidays are the time to meet friends and loved ones. We enjoy sitting around a bonfire, eating barbeque, and drinking beer.
But remember, if you’re consuming all those tasty
delicious dishes, you balance them out by taking healthy food like green veggies, fruits, grains, and a great amount of water.

HOLD ON TO ORAL CARE ROUTINE-

Make sure you stick to your oral care regime. You can settle down your cheat meals by taking proper care of your teeth and gums. Brush twice daily for 2 minutes to get rid of those dangerous bacteria. Flossing, and mouth washing after every food might not be fun doing on your vacation but remember these oral care habits are the only magic that can protect your teeth from damage.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER DAILY-


Water is an elixir for our body. It is your holiday and you surely wish to look glowing and hydrated all day long. Do not worry, water will do the magic. It will not only make you look fresh and glowing but will also aid in removing all the bad bacteria from your mouth.
Drink plenty of water for your entire day. This will wash away all the bad bacteria from your mouth giving you a fresh breath.

CARRY CINNAMON GUMS-


Cinnamon gums are a must-have in your backpack. When you go for an outing during your holidays, make sure to keep with yourself chewing cinnamon gum. It contains “cinnamon aldehyde” that besides waking up your salivary glands, kills the cavity-causing bacteria.
It will also prevent the formation of foul breath and give you a fresh oral space.

NEVER MAKE YOUR TEETH A TOOL-


Holidays bring with them lots and lots of gifts and surprises.
You will receive a great number of presents, packages and other things. With all the urge to tear open these gifts, you’ll for sure use your teeth. But DO NOT do this. It might chip or break your teeth, which you don’t want to happen.

STAY AWAY FROM DRINKS-


Sitting under a starry night with your loved ones, holding a glass of red wine or any other soft drink is the most cherishing moment of holidays. We feel so much happiness from inside that we often forget about our oral health.
However, make sure you do not consume drinks in your bare mouth. Always eat something with it. This will slightly lessen the chance for the drinks to stick on your teeth and harming them.
