‘Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson are true-role models of modern day cricket’ Laxman also explains that they both are inspiration for younger generation.

Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman believes that there is a lot of mutual respect and understanding between them. Laxman further went on to explain why they are an inspiration for younger generation.

”Well,I don’t think that there is a competition between Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli. Rather that there is a lot of understanding and mutual respect between them, both are true role models and are admired across all over the world.”

The way both captains led their sides, the way have optimised their potential, talent and the way of execution is incredible. Kane was influential in the smooth transition of New Zealand team after senior player of New Zealand retired. It was homogeneous for Virat.

‘Both of them take a lot of pride and work of responsibility in playing the game of cricket. It does not matter if they are playing for their country or in the IPL or club cricket, the way they prepare and execute their plan for each and every match is incredible,” he added.

“While commentating for Star Sports, I have seen several times that Virat prepares so well for whatever challenge he is going to face. And I have seen the same from Kane’s side. I believe players who take pride in their performances and work of responsibility towards their game, prepare so dedicately and continuously that is why I think they are true role models,” Laxman signed off.

The WTC final between India and England will begin on June 18th.
